Our Story

Once upon a time in the bustling city of New York, there lived a man named William Cornacchia. William was in the world of finance, known for his sharp mind and impeccable attention to detail. However, amidst the skyscrapers and bustling streets, there was a side of William that was equally as important – his deep love for fishing.

Every weekend, William would escape the concrete jungle and find solace by the Montauk waters. While William was reeling in a massive shark on the weekends, there was a graceful woman back at Metlife stadium simultaneously performing in front of eighty thousand people for the New York Jets. Her name was Lucille Czerniuk, a dedicated and passionate teacher-to-be who also found joy in dancing.

Lucille believed that dancing was a form of art that allowed people to connect on a deeper level. She was known for her powerhouse energy and sophisticated musicality across all styles. Little did she know that on the weekend she was not performing and went out to Hair of the Dog, William also took that same weekend off from fishing and went to the same bar. It was Halloween weekend, and William was dressed as an owl. William was watching her with admiration as she performed a dance she choreographed to Sorry, Not Sorry by Demi Lovato. He was struck by the beauty of her movements.

Although initially hesitant, he mustered the courage to ask her for a dance. As they swayed to the music and exchanged names, William realized that dancing was a world he had never explored. Lucille realized she too had a lot to discover about fishing and was curious to learn more through Williams’s stories.

Their worlds collided, and love blossomed in the most unexpected places. William and Lucille started spending weekends together, alternating between fishing in Montauk and dancing under the city lights. The harmony of their contrasting interests created a unique and beautiful symphony, proving that love could transcend the boundaries of seemingly incompatible hobbies.

As their relationship deepened, William began to appreciate the art of dancing, while Lucille found joy in the simplicity of a quiet day by the water. They taught each other patience, understanding, and the importance of embracing differences. Their love story became an inspiration to those around them, a testament to the idea that opposites not only attract but also enrich each other's lives.

As the seasons changed and time marched forward, William and Lucille faced life's challenges hand in hand. When an unexpected obstacle came Williams’s way, Lucille stood by his side, offering words of encouragement and unwavering support. She became his anchor during turbulent times, reminding him of the serenity found in the stillness of a fishing expedition.

In turn, when the demands of the teaching profession became overwhelming for Lucille, William became her rock. He attended school events, cheered on her students at shows, and even surprised her with impromptu dances and flowers to lift her spirits. Their love not only weathered storms but also navigated life's diverse landscapes with grace and resilience.

William and Lucille also celebrated each other's accomplishments with genuine pride and joy. When William achieved a professional milestone or transitioned to working at Montauk Anglers Club, Lucille would organize an intimate celebration with gifts and lovely written cards. In return, when Lucille’s innovative teaching methods were recognized or her students achieved remarkable feats, William orchestrated elegant evenings filled with celebration, music, and laughter.

They understood the importance of acknowledging each other's growth, fostering an environment where success was a shared victory. These celebrations were not just about individual achievements; they symbolized the mutual investment in each other's dreams and aspirations. William and Lucille's love story became a canvas painted with moments of mutual admiration, reinforcing the idea that a relationship flourishes when both partners take pride in the other's triumphs, no matter how big or small.

Now, you can find them living happily in Montauk, cherishing every sunrise and sunset. There is truly no better sunset than a Montauk sunset. They find bliss in the balance of tranquil winters and bustling summers. Their two huskies, Kodi and Thunder, bring them joy, entertainment, and so much love.

William and Lucille's story proves that sometimes, the most beautiful connections are formed when two worlds collide in unexpected harmony. William and Lucille’s story will continue to expand the possibilities of love and support before and after the knot is tied. They are honored to have you with them as they begin their next chapter in life.
